Bekkah has been working in sexual health for over ten years. Throughout her career she has focused on education, community organizing, professional development and program design. This winter, she is being published by the d. School at Stanford for her innovative, inclusive and sustainable program design in sexual health programming using Design Thinking. Bekkah has become a leader in program design and development, elevating it to the next level. Her passion for inclusive and engaging sexual health and skills-based health ed spaces comes from her own experience growing up Latina with little to no sex ed in her community along with various communities across Colorado and nationally. Over the years she has worked with many renowned organizations including BeforePlay.org, Planned Parenthood, Denver Health Hospital, Elevatus and the Trailhead Institute. In her free time she loves traveling, cooking and camping with her rescue pup Arlo!
